This Friday, June 19, Catherine Chabaud was in Brest to give the Ocean & Climate pavilion to Patrick Le Bris, Second on the sailboat La Recouvrance and to the Commander of the Ship l’Etoile of the Naval Academy for their awareness and action for preservation in marine environment. This ceremony has followed a press conference aboard La Recouvrance in presence of Eric Hussenot, Founder and Director of the Center Océanopolis in Brest, and Colomban de Vargas, Director of research at the Biological Station of Roscoff. It was an opportunity for the team Plankton Planet to exchange with Brest stakeholders about the opportunities offered by the participatory sciences: lower environmental impact, better coverage of the maritime areas, low cost infrastructure.
